This Course is meant for foreigners and those Indians who wish to acquire reading and learning proficiency in Punjabi language.
PSO2
Every candidate seeking admission to the one-year part-time Certificate Course in Punjabi under annual mode must have passed/qualified the Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or possesses such qualifications, if any, as may be prescribed by regulations.
PSO3
The Examinations for the Certificate Course in Punjabi shall be both written and oral, according to the scheme mentioned in the syllabus.

CO - Paper I "Punjabi Language, Gurmukhi Script and Grammar"
Through this paper students are being exposed to basic characteristics of Punjabi Language, Gurmukhi Script and Grammar of Punjabi Language.
CO - Paper II "Functional Punjabi and Translation"
The Course intends to acquaint the students with the problematic of Functional Punjabi and translation from English or Hindi to Punjabi Language.
CO - Paper III "Oral Examination"
With the help of this course, student’s reading, learning and speaking proficiency in Punjabi language is adjudged.
